The first web service based on MIS will be implemented by Assiut University

Prof. Mohamed Abo Zahhad kicked off the development of the web service used to connect MIS to Egypt.gov.eg hosted student hostels system. I would like to thank him for his continuous support to Egyptian universities. Special thanks to Eng. Ahmed Saleh (The designer and developer for the service). 11 universities are waiting to install and use it.

Training for email Administration

Thanks to Eng. Haytham Ghalwash. He organized Training for email Administration for the ICTP. Thanks to Eng. Mustafa Abu Aly who trained the universities engineers on administrating live emails, spaces, etc.

A visit to Alexandria University

The ICTP team (Dr.Tarek Al Ahmady, Dr. Mohamed Sharawy and Myself) has visited Alexandria University. The team discussed ICTP 2 project with Alexandria university team (Prof. Nazeeh Deriny, Prof. Mohamed Rizk, Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Salam and other project managers). The meeting is attended by the university president (Prof. Hend Hanafy).

Students Hostels Application is now life on Egyptian Government Portal

University Students Hostels Application is now life on Egyptian Government Portal managed by Ministry of state and administrative affairs. Many Students used it already. I would like to thank Eng.
